Services

Dr. Wright takes tremendous pride in being conservative and thorough in her approach to practicing psychiatry. Her philosophy is to deliver the best medical care possible to all of her patients. This involves getting to know her patients and their families by spending quality time with them during their sessions. Dr. Wright will prescribe medications (if indicated) and provide close follow-up to ensure that patients are responding favorably to the medication with minimal-to-no side effects.

In addition to formal diagnosis, assessment, and medication management, therapeutic interventions and/or psychological testing may also be recommended. Dr. Wright will see families for family therapy. Dr. Wright also sees adults, adolescents and children for individual therapy. At certain times when Dr. Wright may be instituting one type of therapy, another therapy will need to occur simultaneously with an outside therapist in order for the best treatment outcomes. In those situations, Dr. Wright will help individuals/families with appropriate referrals. Please note that longer appointments may be warranted in certain circumstances. Sometimes multiple appointments may be needed to gather enough information to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
